L.Ship

The L.Ship application, managed by Blue Star Software, serves as an internal management system specifically designed for searching ships along with their respective certifications and documentation. It’s a comprehensive tool involving administrators, RINA clients (Registro Italiano Navale), and external groups such as shipowners, establishing a hierarchical access structure.

The system relies on ship codes, particularly the RI (Registro Italiano) and IMO (International Maritime Organization) codes. Not all vessels possess these codes, and in cases where the registration is missing, the application allows searches using the ship’s name or a specific ID as identification.

A significant feature of this application is the checklist function, ensuring detailed supervision and control.
